A friend of mine as just bought a new printer, because her old printer would not print from a web page, but the new printer is the same, when she clicks on print, the printer goes through the printing process, but when the paper comes out it is blank, as anyone got any ideas what the problem could be. she as got Windows Me.

    Thank you

    Several things could be happening

#1) She should put the printer through the cleaning process. Go to the Properties/Maintenance and click "clean ".
    2) The printer should have a Print Nozzle pattern; that will test the print pattern.
    3) Did she consult the troubleshooting page in the manual -- or visit the manufacturer's web page to see if there are new drivers & news about printing?
    4) What browser is she using? If she has TWO BROWSERS (Netscape & IE), test the page with both browsers. If it prints with one and not the other, it's the browser.
    5) Are the cartridges in correctly?
    6) Lastly, go to Windows ME knowledge base and see if that printer is listed as incompatible with ME.
All this can effect whether it prints or not.
But consult the troubleshooting pages of the manual.
