When I receive an email with a JPG attachment and click on it to open it I get the message:

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the File Options control panel.

I recently installed Kodak EasyShare software which now opens my JPG files and is accordingly associated in the File Options control panel. When I click on any JPG icon it opens with Kodak EasyShare, but when I click on the email attachment clip I get the above message. I formerly opened JPG's with Windows Image Viewer before I changed the association to Kodak EasyShare. Why won't my email JPG attachments open unless I save the attachment to a folder and then open them? Any help would be appreciated.
    I use OE 6.

    Thank you

Lugwalker--Look at Tampa Flyer's last post here

If this is correct, you may have to either use the download procedure or change your association for .jpg files to another graphics editor, like Irfanview, Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, IE, etc.
What version of Windows are you using?

Thanks, Jim. I was aware that I could just change back to associating jpg files with Windows Viewer (Tampa's suggestion), but I really like the Kodak EasyShare Viewer. Since OE 6 has compatibilitiy issues with EasyShare I reckon that I'll just have to choose between the two. Good to know that it's not a problem caused by something didn't do, though :)

    Thanks again.
