Resolved Cannot open excel doc

    Cannot open an Excel document using Windows 7 on desk top. Get the following error:Microsoft Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space. Free space is 807 GB.

    The problem seems to have started after a blue screen failure when I installed a memory card into a USB port.

    Hi rwirsig. Try right clicking on the document and click on Properties. On the General tab at the very bottom click the Unblock button and then click on Ok to save the changes. Then open the document again.

    Does this happen on all excel files or just one?

    The problem is only the one excel file that I received as an attachment to an email. Even after saving it I couldn't open it. The unblock procedure worked on this saved copy but not on the copy attached to the email which is fine. So the problem is resolved---thank you.
    I can't figure out how to mark this problem as resolved

    Click on the THREAD TOOL link and then the Thread Resolved link.
