Cannot open anything in a new window

    I used to have a pop up stopper and i thought this was to blame so i uninstalled it and went to microsoft to make sure all my explorer options were updated but I still cannot open anything in a new window...All i get is the outline of a new window with the shadow of the old window behind it??? Please Help!

    i did everything as told and the only part that refuse to work is the command for mshtml.dll Im fairy sure that it is a java problem so when I went to sun to download the newest version my OS was too old and a disk i have for VM says i have a newer version and it cannot process??? I use W98 and IE6...Why cant I open these dang windows????:mad: :mad: :confused: :mad:

    Did you try the Repair Tool?

    I ran the repair and the repair could not complete because mstime.dll was corrupted...I went and installed the application again as told but to no avail? I dont know what the heck to do with this thing?

    Do you mean mshtml.dll?

    No, the error message says mstime.dll I had seen the one you refer to as an error but after reinstalling it was not a problem???

    I just download netscape and problem solved...now i can beoploe in the NS forum :)
