erg, my friend, long time since you've been around. Perhaps you've been lurking?

C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users is the folder for Netscape Communicator. If you're still using Netscape 7.2, look here for your: Profiles Folder Location.

If I knew for certain what your reference is, I could better help. Could you be referring to the user.js file?

Go to Edit | Preferences | Mail & Newsgroups
Enable: Use Mozilla Mail as the default mail application.

If you still have problems go to:
Start | Settings | Control Panel
    Ppen Internet Options
    Click on: Programs tab
Select Netscape Mail from the drop-down list next to E-mail:.

There is also a Registry Key that points to the default Mail Client:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mailto\shell\open\command

    Does it point to Netscp.exe?

Thanks Ramona. No that hot key points to Outlook but on this partition I booted too this morning my mail is working properly. I think I fixed the problem last night on the other partition. I wasnt very clear in my original post last night. I use a program called MailWasher. It lets me look at the emails on the ISP server before they are downloaded and when I would click on PROCESS MAIL it would open Outlook. Mailwasher was configured correctly and I think the problem was because I did not have a USER Profile if that makes any sense. I will try it again later and see if it raises its ugly head again, if so, I shall return as McAuther said:). Thanks again for the reply
