Hi all...I'm hoping to get some insight on this error message. I have to boot up in safe mode to do anything, but I have attempted to create another user profile and when I click on it, nothing happens. I have tried to do a system restore and get a message that it didn't complete correctly. I have run malwarebytes with no problems and my avg virus program comes up with nothing as well. Is there a back door for creating a new user profile using safe mode?

    Thanks very much!

There is no back door method as such, your user profile has become corrupted. You have tried to create a new profile but it may be worth your time to go through this guide.

If this does not work for you please let me have some more information by completing your system specs. Do you have a Vista disc?

Thanks for the help. I ended up taking the computer to a repair guy and my hard drive was bad. I tried reloading the startup disk, but it wouldn't even do that. I'm hoping it was worth the price I'm paying, but I have an amd phenom computer that is less than 3 years old, so I'm hoping this was the way to go.

Hope it didn't cost toooo much, a new hard drive will always cure this problem but might not have been the cheapest solution, we could have shown you how to do that without labour charges. Anyway, good to hear it is back up and running.
