I have been trying to install the net 3.5 or 4.5 framework in my Vista home premium 64 bit for about 2 weeks. I am tryog to install a tax program and it requires it. I have been emailing a microsoft tech and it takes a week to respond back to me. I have tried all 3 of his suggestions. Does anyone know where the best support option is for me?

What happens/doesn't happen when you try?

My Turbo Tax required the same thing and it came with the cd...

Where are you getting yours from - MS or the Tax Software? If you've only tried one source - try the other one.

I tried both and have also tried several Microsoft cleanup utilities. I now have no framework files in my system at all. I am lost with this. Another person suggested I do a Vista repair install, but I don't see where to do it. I only see startup repair which doesn't help.
