I am having no succes installing an Iomega REV 35 drive in WIndows 2003 std.
Up to date on all patches through 6-5-07. Latest firmware and drivers from Iomega, etc.

The drive works fine in XP, but is always recognized as a CDROM in W2K3 and the disk is shown in RAW format. It is supposed to be UDF file format.

Sent drive and SBC to Trenton, NPF. Iomega has no clues. I copied the cdrom.sys, imapi.sys, redbook.sys and storprop.dll from the working XP box and replaced them on the W2K3 box, no change.

The W2K3 has 1 other driver (imdrvfsf.sys) probably the iomega driver.

    Any ideas?

    Vibrato

It is understandable that no one has any ideas to share as this is a dooesy.
At this point it appears to be vibration induced failures.
Every other aspect of the system works except the IOMEGA.
The solution: When all cooling fans are powered off, the IOMEGA works.
Isolating the vibration will resolve the issue.
