Resolved Cannot install Adobe Reader

    [FONT= "Tahoma"]I have been trying to install Adobe Reader for weeks and the strangest thing keeps happening. When I install it, all my desktop shortcut icons change to the Adobe Icon and I can no longer use them. Then I have to uninstall Adobe reader and they go back to the way they were. I am using Foxit Reader right now instead.

    Any idea's here would be very helpful.[/FONT]

    Oracle is trying to save you from their "less than stellar" software (I would prefer to use more colorful language!)

    I've been using Foxit Reader for as long as I can remember: I don't need 50-60 MB of junk to read pdf files!
