cannot find rundll32.exe

whenever i try to open an item ic control panel, i get the message "windows cannot find the file C:.....rundll32.exe ". Any suggestions?

 

If it happened to me I would immediately suspect malware, as Control Panel objects do not use Rundll32 as a loader, they use CONTROL.EXE.

Test:

. Start, Run, CMD
