I am running a terminal server off windows server 2003 R2. I can connect to it with no problem with many different computers on the same network that the server is on. Port 3389 is forwarding, all firewalls are off, but when I try and connect via RDP at home, It wont connect. I get : This computer can't connect to the remote computer. Remote Desktop cannot find the remote computer. etc.

    Welcome to WIndowsBBS;)

Sorry but someone has to ask;)
Are you using the static external IP when you try to connect from home?

I presume you mean - all firewall on the server. Making a system accessible from the internet without a firewall somewhere (on the router if nowhere else) is asking for trouble.

Steve: Are you talking about a static one on the router/server?

Reggie: Yes, that's what I meant. Firewall on the router, but not on the home PC or the server.
