Resolved 'Cannot connect to ...' message

Within the last week, certain websites now seem to be blocked from my browsers. When I try to open them it says "could not connect to ______" These are basic websites like AllRecipes, Hotmail, Meetup, etc. I installed Google Chrome thinking the problem was IE but I get the same message there as well. Someone recommended trying them in VTunnel which loads them just fine. Any tips for how to unblock/connect to the sites again? Thanks!

 

Qwest. We also have a laptop connected through our wireless router. It will not load the same websites.

 

What did Quest say when you called them and told them your problem?

 

I hadnt even considered it was a problem with that until you suggested it. They had me reset my modem and router. Everything works fine now. Thanks!
