    Hi

something hidden in my computer causes my IE6 to have a specific home page. No matter how many times I change my home page back (I use google as my home page) this wierd home page, at: http://81.211.105.43/index.php?v=4 , keeps coming back whenever I reboot my system.

ad-aware failed to find this. I'm clueless now.
    Any help please?

that wierd page (http://81.211.105.43/index.php?v=4) does not even exsist, and everytime it brings instead:
    http://searchcentral.cc/

what can I do to get rid of them please and make IE keep google as my home page.

(btw: I'm not a newbie, and I know how to set a home page for IE)

Update and run Spybot and Ad-aware. Fix all they find. If still having problems, scan with HijackThis, save to notepad and paste results here. Don't fix anything with it yet! Someone will advise what to fix.

    same thing

hi , I had the exact same problem. I downloaded and ran Hijackthis and removed all suspicious threads and it took care of it.

Pest Patrol does a great job if you want to remove all these pests and all that kinda stuff.
