I cannot backup my files because of so many files I created with long filename using my CD-RW.
Over the years I have save quite a number of web pages without changing the filename they come with, shortly after I bought this cd-rw to do my BUs but the rw wouldn't accept long filenames. I had to painstakingly shorten the names but I am getting tired sitting in front of the monitor doing this. Any best solution?

    help
PS zip drives and floppies accept long names, so why not a cd-rw?

I'm very new to CD-RW's, but I do know that Joliet or ISO Compatible determines filename length.
Mine is set to Joliet on a Windows ME computer (long filenames).
I can change my settings in the CD-RW software options.

    Let me know

Might it be related to file system limitations? File names, after all, include directory paths.
