I'm running Windows XP. My computer crashed a while ago. I was able to get it back up and running but when I clicked on the "My Pictures" folder I get the error message "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Pictures is not accessible. Access is Denied." When checking the properties there is a green box in the Read-Only box. I deselect that and apply that to the folder but access is still denied. I right clicked on the start button, selected explore, Tools, View, and selected Show all Hidden files and applied that to all the folders and it still doesn't work. Anythings else I could try?

    Thanks

Without knowing how you restored the computer my first suggestion is to Take Ownership of the folder .....
