I guess I am in trouble again, which, for anyone who may have read my previous postings, is MOST unusual. :D

I am using XP Pro and NTFS File System.

    I have a PC with 2 Hard Drives, the 1st with 3 partitions, the 2nd only 2.

I swapped these Drives around and installed the O/S on the NEW Drive 1, and left the original O/S in place on the OTHER Drive, just in case I 'accidently' messed up.

I now find that I can access the first 2 partitions on the 2nd Drive, but cannot access the 3rd.

I believe all Permissions are set correctly and would appreciate any assistance.

    Many Thanks.

In what way can’t you access it?
It does not show in My Computer, or it is there but you can’t open it, or you can open it but it’s empty, or the files are there but you can’t open them?

My apologies for not replying sooner but I was called away for a few days.

As to my problem, I could see the data but could not access it, so what I did eventually was revert to my original setup, and, because all the partitions on this Drive were nearly full of data, I transferred some files from the 3rd to the 2nd Partition, and, in successive steps, using Partition Magic, I gradually increased the size of the 2nd Partition at the same time reducing the 3rd, until I had all the data transferred, and then I simply deleted the 3rd Partition.

I suspect there may have been an easier way to solve the problem but at least I am up and running again.

    Thank you for your time.

Well glad you got there but it was a bit protracted and a risky thing to do if you didn’t have a backup of the data on those partitions.
