Resolved Canâ€™t remove Java Icon

Hi All
After reading about the problems with Java, I removed it from my computer. I also installed Revo uninstaller to clean up all remnants.
The only thing that I can not get rid of is the Icon in Control Panel.
Not that it is important to remove it, just that it should be gone because I don’t have java anymore.

Any idea on how to get rid of that?

Try this solution from Oracle .....

I did as Oracle instructed me, but it did not work.
I removed 6 Registry codes, all the same numbers, but the icon was still there. So I decided to install it again and then uninstall again.
That worked.

I wonder if you rebooted after removing the Registry entries - nevertheless you nailed it
