I have tried to format my second HDD in fat16 so I can read it from DOS if needed. When I select the drive in disk management and click on format, it only gives me the option to format in NTFS. No other option. Is there a way to trick xp into formatting in FAT?

    Thanks
    Sven

@ petec that's only applicable to OS's before winXP if you make an dos bootable floppy using the winxp format command it does allow access to FAT32 formated HDD's
