Can you turn off hibernate and other power settings with group policy?

    Can you turn off hibernate and other power settings with group policy and if so do you know where it is at??

    Sorry, MS says you have to wait / upgrade to Vista for this feature. On above page link their is a URL for a commercial / pay for solution.


    BUT, thanks to EnergyStar.gov, they have a free download which may provide a solution ..... EZ GPO software
    After you read all the info / pdf's, they do request you contact EnergyStar before activating "system standby (Certain custom database applications and software/patch updating configurations may not be compatible with "system standby).
