I just tried to install Livemail on my laptop which has win 2000 as the OS. When I ran the install exe I got a message saying winstaller is not a valid Win32 application.

Does anyone know if Livemail can be install on 2000? I can't find an answer anywhere else on the site.

Easy to find, there's a link called System Requirements which states:

So it doesn't look Win2K is supported.

    Windows Live Mail on Win2K

Yes, I'd spotted that one Arie, but I'd hoped on a forum like this someone might ave a workaround. Some users might agree that Microsoft are some times a little economical with the truth when it comes to what will work with what, as they would all like us to buy their latest products.

    Arie is an expert!

I am just learning myself but I think windows 2000 is missing the thingamabob that connects to the whatchamacallit making it impossible to do it!:D

Can't be done and who would want to go to the trouble! Get XP, or there are plenty of actually better email clients!
