Can windows 2000 be installed if coa is on the case

    I recently purchased some computers from a local goverment auction and most of them have windows 2000 and windows 98SE coa's on the case.The hard drives were of course formatted.Can the OS be legally installed back on the computers using the coa's that are on the cases????Thanks
