Can`t open Driver

    I downloaded a driver for my 2000windows and when I go to install it it won`t open says I need win NT 4.0 or higher. The driver was gotten from driver guide and is a US Robotics driver for a modem

    The file is New sfx.exe
    UsRobotics 56K internal Fax Modem Model 2977 3 Com

    I couldn`t get the drivers to open so have found the original drivers that came with the modem so used them and it works fine. Thanks for checking for me

    I dont think a 2977 even needs a driver. That's a hardware Modem isn't it??
