can someone recommend me a good proxy server for windows XP?

can someone recommend me a good proxy server for windows XP that allows the server and the clients in my home network to connect to DALNET and UNDERNET, as you can see, i have analogx proxyi as my proxy server but when i connect to DALNET or UNDERNET, i always get killed because it says that i have an open proxy or insecure proxy/socks or whatever that is.
can someone help me?

Try configuring mIRC on one computer according to the instructions on this page and if it works, configure the rest.

The best "proxy server" for what you want to do is a router, though. It allows connections to IRC servers without the "open socks server" problem and without a lot of configuring with the added bonus of being a good firewall.
