Hello, my neighbor just brought over a Windows XP Dell Inspiron 1000 Laptop and asked me if I would try to update it. I'm not even sure it has a connection that will fit on my modem. They were using it with a dial up connection.
It is so old (I think back to 2004) that they have all the manuals with it as they used to give us with a new computer.
System Properties show it is XP Home Edition,Version 2002, Service Pack 3, Celeron CPU 220 GHz,
219 GHz, 224 MB of Ram.
Thank you for helping me decide if it is worth upgrading.

NO.... You can't upgrade that... Few hundred bucks will by a new machine.

Got to agree with Steve. Be like putting a lawnmower engine in a jet plane to see if it will even move it.
