Can not open Internet Explorer or AOL

I have 2 computers networked via Linksys (wireless) and use AOL Broadband, a week ago, my computer that has the wireless adapter stopped letting me access AOL (every time I try to open AOL, the sign on screen starts and then says AOL not responding) and I can not go any farther. I tried reloading the AOL disc, but still have the same problem. I was able to get onto the internet via Internet Explorer 2 times, but now I can't even do that. Now when I click on IE nothing happens. I have pinged my router and it is working fine. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

What operating system(s)?

 

I have XP on both computers.
