can not create new connection

    When try to create new connection using new connection wizard,all the connection types are greyed out,can not choose
    please help

    What sort of account are you logged on with? Admin, super user, user, guest, ??

    I've never set up a system that I didn't have administrator level on so I can't say for sure but it sounds like you, as a "regular user ", don't have the authority on the system to set up a new connection. You would have to log on as administrator.

    An administrator account or a power user account can create the new connection.

    A user account or a guest account cannot. The option will be grayed out for any functions your account lacks the privilege level to perform.
