I'm sure this is not the first time this has come up but I could not find the answer searching the knowledge base here.
Using XP SP2 and OE 6.29.
Just went from dial-up to the only high speed option available besides satellite.
It is a starcom UM175 CDMA wirless modem and US Cellular.
The math works out to 40 times faster per speedtest.net.
I was told my only email option is using a web based one ie: gmail, yahoo.
I really like the ability to have the messages in the Outlook express inbox on the hard drive of my laptop. I can refer to info in them if needed without being connected. Also I like to compose messages while on planes and then send when I connect using OE.
I have not cancelled my dial-up ISP account yet so when I am connected via the UM175 modem, outlook express will receive new mail when I open it.
Obviously when I close the account this will no longer work.
I did just set up a Gmail account. Is it possible to point OE to that by changing some account settings or configuration within OE to do this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Dan
