    Hi,
My son is doing a little project, trying to get a website going, using the ATT web-publishing feature on my att account. Last night, he accidentally over-wrote a file: when saving the new one, he gave it a name of an existing file and didn't notice the warnings that you usually get when doing that. The upshot is that he has lost the original file. Is there a way that he can recover that file? I sent a mail to the att help-desk but haven't received any info. yet.
    Thank you,
    Hejira98

Pretty sure you are out of luck. Only way I can think of is if ATT just happened to have done a backup prior to to the over write. Then it would be doubtfull that they'd be interesed in digging through the back up to retriev the file.

Suggestion from my own SAD & time consuming experience.

BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP those file BEFORE editing.

And when you get the changes made satifactorily BACKUP AGAIN

I have my WebPage folder backed up not only on another partition but also on another PC. ( I have a LAN so I can do that )
