Is there any way that I can limit the use of Internet Explorer by the use of a password each time the program is opened? I have a computer at work with Win98. The computer is on all the time. I would like to let others use it but limit internet usage. However, since the browser is part of the operating system, I suspect I can't pull this off. Anyone know a solution?

Interesting idea. I guess you could use a third party software such as WinGuardPro, which password locks files and folders, to do this for IE. You'd probably have to use it on all icons for IE as well as the Program File folder. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

    Hope this helps.

I think if you enable Content Advisor, you can set it to block access to all websites w/o the password.
