    Hi

An old man needs some help with XP. I just got it to upgrade from ME. Question is whether I can install it on my desktop AND my laptop. Heard somewhere that it would only install once. Installed ME on both.

Does anyone know if I can install it on two computers?

    Many thanks for any assistance

No. The End User License Agreement that you accepted when you did the initial install forbids that. There is also a built in preventative measure that won't let you operate without Registering/Activating your copy. You will not be able to activate any more copies than you have paid for. If you attempt to install a second copy, in spite of all this, it will quit booting soon after it is installed and not properly activated.

Yeah, I think that stinks too.
