I have an AMD Radeon R7 200 series Graphics Card...supports HD...but wasn't sure if my computer will support this? I have not tried to make any changes via AMD Computer Catylist program, but hate to screw it up by making a change that I'm not sure of! Any help and advice would be appreciated!

Not sure if you’re asking if the computer will support the graphics card or if the graphics card will support the TV.

But quick answer to both questions is yes.
Have the same graphics card (silent, fanless model) in my home theater PC.
    It’s hooked up to a 52" plasma TV at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

When connecting just think of the TV as another monitor.

If both your computer and TV have an HDMI port, simply connect the two together with a HDMI cable. Now set the TV to use that HDMI port as input and set your computer to use more than one monitor, (extend or mirror the Desktop).

Thanks for the quick feedback! I hooked an HDMI cable to the TV and this is where I'm running into the difficulty, it does work as far as giving me video. It looks very grainy with a red haziness to it. The video does jump once in a while too...so I'm guessing I need to adjust the refresh rate...just wondering what adjustments I should or should NOT make to adjust the refresh and color rates!
Is this something I can adjust off the desktop or do I need to change through AMD Catalyst control panel?

Keep in mind that you're stretching a mere 1920 x 1080 resolution all the way out to fill a huge 46-inch TV screen. In other words, it has to stretch each individual pixel wider and taller so that all together they fill the entire 46" screen. (As a comparison, my 23.8-inch computer screens have a resolution of 3840x2160 and my cellphone has a resolution of 2560x1440 on a little 5.7-inch screen).

The red haziness and jumping around sounds like you may have a flaky (bad, damaged, el'cheapo, not well-insulated, etc.) HDMI cable?

Changed out the HDMI cord...which was bad...reset my resolution and holy cow what a difference. Thanks to both of you for your help! Much appreciated!
