Can a DLL be run independently?

    I have an app that has an emulator used to test the code. The emulator is a DLL. Can I run the emulator indepently of the app?

    If so, how would you go about it?

    I've played with runndll and rundll32 but haven't had any luck.

    That way I wouldn't have to load the builder and save a few resources.
