Have an individual who brought a Dell computer from a company that went under. The company had windows 2000 installed and did not remove the op. system. This surprises me but anyway now the person who brought the machine can not get in because its asking for username and password. Guest does not work nor does any tricking for admin login work.

Can the password be broken ? The old Windows NT 4 at one time could be broken into but I am not aware of anyway to bypass in 2000.

    Rule #6 applies.

Reinstall the OS is the only answer you'll get here.
