    Welcome to WindowsBBS!

What kind of problems are you having that you need to use the repair function? Not unusual for the cache to not clear from time to time. And not usually a sign of problems on your end.

Which modem do you have? Does unplugging the modem (reset) repair the connection, or do you reboot or .........? Has line quality been checked? How is your connection when working (fast, slow, just OK)?

Apologize for all questions and no answers as of yet! :)

    not to change the subject...

    Robert,
You should really consider removing your email address from your signature. You are asking for a boatload of 'spam' (big enough problem without asking for it). Your mailbox, your decision.
