Cable Modem?

    Which is the better cable modem Toshiba PCX1100U or Motorola SurfBoard SB5100?

    Nothing to compare it to, but I've had a Surfboard SB4100 for awhile and have had no complaints/problems with it. I can only guess that the 5100 will be just as good.

    I started out with the 5100 and had problems with it. Don't know if that was due to being used (belongs to the provider) or just the model. I'm currently using the 5120, which has worked flawlessly for a year. When the ISP tech brought it, he did say it was a better modem than the 5100, and that he'd seen alot of the 5100's with problems.

    Unfamiliar with the Toshiba. :(
