    Hi,

My first post, when starting windows on initial start up i get

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\{Fc6c8f43-d13d-b39c-500c-60edcb4f73aa}.dll

Its says cannot be found. I did remove a virus, how do i replace this lost file/patch?

Selling my computer, how do i wipe the hard drive without loosing all installed drivers?

    Any help much appreciated.

chiefmissile - Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

C:\WINDOWS\system32\{Fc6c8f43-d13d-b39c-500c-60edcb4f73aa}.dll is not a recognised library file - I suspect malware.

Read this and post the logs requested in the Malware & Virus Removal forum.
I guess you mean how do you securely remove your data while leaving the OS and programs intact?

Look at Eraser to securely remove your private data by overwriting it to Gov/Defence standards.
