I just upgraded my OS from Win98 to Win 2000 Pro, and when I tried to install my Lexmark X5270, I got an error message statinig that that there was a C++ runtime error causing an abnormal termination in the Lexmark Com program.

Needless to say, the computer has no communication with the printer, even though the device sheet shows that that the printer is working properly, and there are no conflicts.

The printer is attached by USB cable.

Any ideas or hlp would be greatly appreciated. I need the printer to print out college homework.

    Thanks in advance.
