I have Windows XP installed on my computer. I have had my computer for about two years and never had trouble with it when I started it up. But about three days ago, when I start the computer and it it reaches the point where the computer is fully loaded up there a burst of light for about two seconds. I don't understand this. Can anyone tell me what this means? Thank you.

Try shutting down the computer and disconnecting the monitor. Unplug the monitor from the wall, too. Go for fresh coffee. Come back, hook it all up again, and boot up. If it happens again, post back.
