What will the free burning software for Windows similar to k3b? TIA

Most burners will come with a scaled down program of the commonly used Nero burning program called "Nero Express "
Most users find that it is adequete
The Windows cd burning program is not the most highly regarded as compared to 3 party programs.

I have the "Nero" basic version packed with the DVD drive when purchased. I'm venturing to find out whether there is a more advanced software for burning DVD/CD from Open Source similar to k3b;

It can work on Windows. Nowadays many software on Open Source work cross platform, Linux/Unix/Mac/Windows etc. I hope to find one for burning. Tks.
