Burning Files for Win 98

    promblem copying files to old computer running win 98....

    try to copy files using nero and xp ....burnt files are able to be read on new computer...but win98 cant read dsik......

    That's pretty common. Old drives just aren't as good at reading data that has been user created.

    If you were using a cd-rw try it with a cd-r. That will be your best shot at it. Even then don't allow the disk to be created as a "multi session" type. Nero will let you choose to close the disk from further writing.

    If that doesn't work you'll have to resort to extreme measures. Swapping the drive is an alternative if you really need that stuff transferred.
