bug or not ?

Good evening folks.

I've got this problem with my ie 6.0 and was hoping you guys could tell me what the problem is, or if it's suppose to be this way.

Say I enter an url into the address field "www,microsoft.com" (notice the comma) or I just enter an address that doesnt exist then I get redirected to "http://www.lop.com/dnserror.cgi?s=http://www.microsoft.com ". In addition to the above I get a popup window "Play Games and win Money" which is a banner for Casino on the net. I find this very annoying. Now I have to re-enter the whole url into the address field. In my humble opinion it would be alot easier to show a page with the text "cannot connect to your url" and still have the url you typed in the address field so that you can edit it, ie change a comma to a periode like in the example above.

Hope this make atleast some sense.
