    HELLLLP!!
    I have an Acer Aspire 5535 Laptop amd Athlon 64 X2 dual-core
4gb DDR2, and 500gb HDD. It came pre installed with Vista. I clean-installed Windows 7 on it to replace Vista, it worked onca and since then all I get on booting is a BSOD stating "The bios in this system is not fully ACPI compliant." and error code 0x000000A5 (0x0000011,0x0000003,0x0000000,0x0000000).
Because my DVD drive is not working I have tried reinstalling windows via the USB, but now even when I have change the boot order in BIOS, it does not read the USB and just goes straight to the blue screen. Any ideas please?

In addition to the above; I have checked my BIOS and it is the most recent version available.

Try this: Enter your BIOS, and choose to load the default BIOS settings.

This is your error code telling:

The system could not enter ACPI mode. There are many reasons for this, including:
    • It could not initialize the AML interpreter.
    • It could not find the Root System Description table.
    • It could not allocate a critical driver.
    • It could not load the Root System Description table.
    • The system could not load device descriptor blocks.
    • The system could not connect an interrupt vector.
    • The SCI_EN (system control interrupt enable request) cannot be set (see 0x00000001 earlier in this article).
    • The ACPI Table checksum is incorrect.

ACPI consists of a hierarchical arrangement of tables, each one building upon the next to define the complete capabilities of the system and every device in it. It starts by looking for the Root System Description table, which points to the next table, which points to the next and so on. This error occurs for the most part because these tables are bad or missing.
