    Hi to All,

My friend's computer is working fine after the upgrade from (windows 7 pro), but on start throws up a hiccup every alternate start, but the message with some "IRQ" error "..computer is gathering the necessary information and will restart" etc. goes away very fast. Then it does start and works okay all the time. If you shut down and start again, it starts quite normally, but when you shut down and start the next time the error is again there.

I checked his computer's Event Viewer and find this prominent error:

    Event Record: 1526
    Exe Process ID: 372
    Parameters:
    1) Net TCP Listeneradapter
    2) Portfreigabedienst (German: service for freeing up ports)
    3) % 1058

There is a second event event lingering around:
    Event ID: 131 / ID 1521
    HResult: 2147943568
    Service Control Manager: 7001

Any idea how to fix it?

    Thank you

    Rista

Hi Rista, I can only suggest updating the drivers through manufacturer as there may be a compatibility problem with W10. This is advice from MS as ALL drivers for programs still may not work properly after the upgrade.
Do a web search for your required drivers - don't use Windows update drivers in Device Manager. Neil.
