    Hi

i'm new here & i hope i can begin my activity with this post :)

after many searches,i found nothing useful about this error . i assembeled my pc last week . everything was ok until i got a BSOD & IT has continue.

    System :
    Mobo: Gigabyte-P35-DS3L
    Cpu:Intel E6550 2.33 Core2duo
    Graphic Crad:Geforce 9600 gt DD3 512mb
    Sound blaster:Creative X-FI Xtereme Audio
    Power:GP-580W-B
    Ram: Geil 2 x 1 (2gg) -1066
    H.d.d: M,axtor 500gg-32mb
    Modem:Zoltrix conexant 3chip 56k ( i changed it to Lucent Modem tonight)
    DVB-Card: Skystar-2 PCI
    CD-Rom: DVD-RW Asus-Lightscripts

i just get the BSOD when i connected to internet & in same time i playing game or watching with DVB-Players(DVB-Dream).(both in xp & vista )[32bit]

*well the first thing i did,i updated all of drivers to the new & standard version .
*then i flashed my bios with picking up the battery
*i changed my bios settings to defualt
    * tested each ram Separate with vista diagnosing tools in expert mode with 4 pass ( no problem detected)

    * opened the case (for warmth),changed the slots for ram & PCI hardwares, checked for cpu fan

*( tonight i changed my modem [it was very buggy] & till now there is no BSOD )

in the next step i analysed the win minidump file iwth win debugger, the first dump say it's the nv4_disp.dll FUALT .
but after i reinstalled the updated driver to the CD version, the BSOD repeated again but this time with new minidump (almost after 7 hours later ).

the problem was nothing if BSOD Whould appear every hour or in begining of windows,it's problem cause it happen when i connected to internet & use a graphical applicvation (game, players like DVB-dream ) .
i'm very upset for this problem & don't know what i must to do .

I need your experiment's help . tnx 4 every thing & just excusme for my weaknees in english .

Hi and welcome to the BBS, well done researching about posting Debug logs.

Is it stable now? For Process Name: DAP.exe, is Download Accelerator Plus, an "internet" program.

You seem to be tracing that it is a problem concerning the internet and connecting with the internet is when it happens.

Areas you might look at...modem, modem drivers (investigating now), internet programs like DAP, firewall (and not running more than one firewall) and possibly malware.

If you are still stuck, check several logs, see if any/many are similar. Post back with a few that seem the most significant.

Did you uninstall the Conexant modem drivers/software? There should be an uninstall listing in Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs. Also check for/remove any listing in Control Panel -> Phone and Modem Options.

    Matt

tnx dear mathman for your attention. after i changed my modem,it's about 2days that there is no BSOD & the system is stable now. i think the problem was with my modem .the modem is known as a good modem in my country but i always use us.robotic brand . i always wanted to try this modem & now i know this modem is not as they say , the us.robotic is better for me . tomorrow i'll change it with a new us.robotic modem .

by the way , giga supporting system answered me after 5 days & it was "check your mobo physical memory compitability list" , the sparkle was better , they answered me after 3 days & they told me "check ur hardwares temperature" . i think next time i shall choose the better brand with better supporting system .

tnx for every thing mr mathman .

    * i'll back with more details if the BSOD happened again .
