    Hi Folks.

Got a problem & wondering if anyone can shed any light.......?

    This is similar to http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=68508&highlight=driver+irql+equal

    I'm currently running
    AMD Athlon 64 x2 5600+
    2x1GB RAM
    2x GeForce 8600GT's 256MB each
    2x 500GB RAID(1) array

all using Vista Ultimate 32 bit

On shutdown I've been getting occasional BSOD's with:
    Driver_irql_not_less_than_or_equal
    *** STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000014, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x807CF20B)

    *** nvstor32.sys address 807CF20B base at 807C5000datestamp 457e0fbe

This exact message has appeared twice in succession, but there have been other address variants.

'Cos I'm running SLI & a RAID array I'm guessing that there's memory addressing 'issues' with shared IRQs??????

One thing I cannot do is update the driver for the RAID device because the 12/07/07 update that Windows Update offers kills my system completely (ie Full system restore - been down this road too many times to be convinced to try again!!!)

Oh, BTW the system is still under warranty so I don't want to get into major surgery - just yet...........

    Any ideas ppl?

Follow these instructions to post a Dump Data Log.

If you do not have a dump, ensure that your machine is configured to write out a dump by following the directions from microsoft
