I turned on my computer today and the normal boot screen came up as per usual, then the windows vista loading bar appeared, and then hung. I left it on for 20 minutes with what appeared to be no end. I then attemped to use the vista repair DVD but when that was loading it would BSOD, I then removed all the connections to the computer apart from the monitor, mouse, power and keyboard and tried booting up the DVD with the same result, BSOD. Now when I try and boot into the computer normally it BSOD's. This is all very strange, anyone know what's happening? Maybe a motherboard issue?

    Thanks in advance.

Make sure your drive is detected and without the DVD, press F8 after the bios screen and then choose repair.
If your drive is not detected check your connections.
