There are multiple browser guard extensions to choose from:
Bitdefender has traffic light, Microsoft Defender has one, so does emsisoft and malwarebytes.
Which of these is the best one to go with? Would it be problematic to use all of them?

I have found Malwarebytes to be very effective - using all of your listed items would seem to be OTT and maybe not a good idea any way with the possibility of conflicts and false alarms.

I agree with PeteC here. Look at my signature, and that is all I have used on my PC and most of my friends also. Can't remember when the last problem that any of us had that kept them updated.

Just to be clear, I'm strictly talking about browser extensions, not the full-fledged anti-virus programs.

I use these on my Chrome browser:

    Malwarebytes Browser Guard 2.5.6

    IDN Safe 1.5.1
IDN Safe is a browser extension which blocks internationalized domain names to prevent you from visiting probable fake sites.

    Privacy Badger 2022.9.27

Like many FF users, I have used MBAM Browser Guard without problems. Also AD Blocker Extn from FF. Both work well together.

Tried using MBAM Browser guard but it ended up blocking/screwing up some pages.
So I have switched to Emisoft Browser Security, but never watched it spring into action.

Yep. Vest thing since sliced bread. And if it tags something that I know is good I tell it it is fine and go from there. Some are false postitives.
