Brower Problem [opens original URL when clicking on new URL - HJT log]

    Brower Problem

    This problem is hard to explain, but here go: I open IE6 and my home page diplayed as it should. I may be luck to get a few web pages and then the problems starts. I enter another URL and the same one reappears. Eventually I will start getting Goggle Error URL not found. This problem was happening with IE5 so I upgraded to IE6, but the problem is still there. I am running Windows 2000. Thanks for any help. Below is a hijack log if it help:

    Download HijackThis.exe version 1.99.1 from here, replacing the one you have, and post a new log.

    Thanks for the reply. I have decided to just reformat and reinstall the OS on this system. It's just a mess.
