An experienced person on a forum I frequent that deals with a CAD program I use wrote:

The only problem I've encountered so far w/ SP2 was internet related. If you're running a broadband connection thru an ethernet connection it will probably become disabled. I had to go into network connections and enable the connection again as well as the LAN connection. CV seems to run fine.

I have been having enough problems with this sort of thing without 'upgrading' to SP2. Do I really want to risk this?

I haven't noticed much mention of that and certainly did not see it on my systems.

There is no really pressing reason to go with SP2 just yet. If you are the least bit nervous about it, wait a month or two. Lots of bugs will have been fixed and most of the remaining ones will be known so someone can tell you how to deal with any issues you have.

That being said, the vast majority of folks seem to either have an uneventful upgrade or at worst, a minor problem or two.
