    Is it possible?

The situation is I have an old dinosaur of a PC in the spare room and on occasion when my father visits he would like internet access.

I'm loath to run a cable from the spare room and see no point in buying a wireless adapter (Yeah I know they're cheap but I'm Scottish ok :))

I have a Samsung galaxy Ace Plus which I can use via bluetooth to hook the PC to the internet but I'm unsure whether it would use my mobile providers bandwith (I'm limited to 500Mb's/month) or I can use it to connect to my home wireless network (unlimited usage).

I know I can test this out myself but TBH I hate using that dinosaur, has anyone tried this with positive results?

Just to clarify yes the mobile is WiFi capable and it automatically connects to known networks (eg my home).

    Thanks Tony,

Although an earlier model, that link does appear relevant for the Ace+ (GT-S7500) but quoting from that link

implies that the data connection and not my home wireless connection would be used. It doesn't mention Bluetooth though so I'll test it out anyway and get back with results.
